"New Music Sucks!" — Out on All Platforms July 5

It's official. The debut single from NitPower drops on every major streaming platform — Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and more — on July 5, 2026 at 1:00pm CEST.

"New Music Sucks!" is the opening shot from the upcoming album Ballet on Broken Bones, and it lands with the kind of quiet devastation that sneaks up on you. On the surface it reads as a rant — a blunt, frustrated dismissal of everything that's cluttering the airwaves right now. And yeah, it kind of is that. But spend a little time with the lyrics and something else starts to take shape.

"I guess I'm kind of feeling blue / And it's all because of you" — that's not music criticism. That's someone sitting alone in the wreckage of something they can't quite walk away from. The pattern of hurt, the patience worn thin, the trap built and abandoned — it's a breakup song wearing a rock complaint as a disguise. Or maybe it's the other way around. Maybe the music really does suck, and love is just the metaphor Lif & Mani reach for when words get too heavy to carry straight.

That tension is exactly what makes it work. 3 minutes and 34 seconds of controlled frustration — melodic enough to stay with you, sharp enough to sting.

Save the date. Add it to your library. Tell someone who needs to hear it — whether they just got their heart broken, or they've just had it with what's on the radio.

July 5 · 1:00pm CEST · Everywhere you listen.
